TDVG Membership Terms

These terms explain the scope and rules of TDVG membership. By completing an application, the athlete declares that they have read and accepted them.

1. Scope

TDVG membership is a private-law membership relationship for participating in natural bodybuilding events organised, partnered with or referred by TDVG and for joining the TDVG athlete programme.

2. Application

• The athlete completes the online membership form.
• The application is recorded and a reference is issued.
• Submitting the form is not a purchase.
• TDVG reviews the application and communicates the next steps directly.
• TDVG may accept or reject an application with reasons.

3. Fee and activation

The current fee and payment method are communicated after application. Membership becomes active only when TDVG confirms actual receipt of the fee, runs for 12 months from that date, and can be activated only by authorised TDVG personnel.

4. Member obligations

• Provide accurate, current and complete information.
• Follow the TDVG Anti-Doping Rules and maintain natural-athlete status.
• Cooperate with anti-doping controls.
• Keep residential address, any secondary residence, email and phone current; notify domestic out-of-city and international travel in advance in writing to info@dogalvucutgelistirme.org.tr, with departure/return dates and address. Travel notification does not exempt from testing and is never made public.
• Follow event rules and official instructions.
• Avoid conduct that harms athlete health or the sport's reputation.

5. Testability

All active TDVG members may be subject to anti-doping control at any time, including the off-season, from the moment their membership fee is confirmed and membership is activated. No previous competition or event registration is required.

6. End, suspension and cancellation

• Membership ends automatically after 12 months unless renewed.
• An athlete may request termination in writing.
• Serious rule breaches, misleading declarations or failure to cooperate may lead to suspension or termination.
• Ending membership does not prevent lawful retention of completed-process records.

Refund requests are assessed under applicable law and the facts of each case; these terms make no general refund promise.

7. Returning to competition

A former member must reactivate membership at least six months before competing again; this may be reduced to three months with an athlete-funded unannounced doping control. Lifetime-banned athletes cannot return. See Membership Information.

8. Athletes under 18

A parent or guardian must provide their details and approve membership, anti-doping and special-category data processing. The independent provider's minor-athlete protocol applies to blood collection.

TDVG may update these terms. The accepted version is recorded with the athlete's application.
